Quickbook Tips: Reporting


You can view your reports in a graph format by picking the report that you want and choosing the graph option.


You can export most reports to an excel format.  This will allow you to further customize the look of the report.  This option can be used to send reports to third parties when you want to limit the amount of information that can be seen.


You can memorize any report that you use on a consistent basis.  First customize the report then click memorize at the top of the report.  Next title the report.  You can also save it to a memorized group such as "Month-End Reports".  To access it go to the reports menu, choose memorized reports, then click memorized report list.

You can easily modify a report quickly by using the modify report, filter feature. You can also change a column on the report by taking your mouse and placing it on a diamond before or after the column description and moving it to expand, reduce or delete a column.
