Quickbook Tips: Receivables
You can edit a customer to assign pricing, terms and type of customer. You can also enter payment information such as credit card information.
A quick way to enter customer invoices, estimates or payments received is to use the customer center. Once you highlight a customer you can click on the new transactions tab and select the action you wish.
You can customize client invoices and statements by clicking on lists, then templates. You can create a new template for invoices, credit memos, sales recepits, statements, estimates and sales orders.
You can easily process customer discounts or write-offs in the receive payment screen. Once you have highlighted the appropriate invoice, you can click the discount and credits button at the bottom of the screen and apply a discount, credit or write-off.
